It's bad form to post pictures before a model gets published, but I think this little preview will be OK.

That's going to be very cool Scott ! PS - Paul's last name has two N's but I can overlook it . . . such a nice tribute build to both him and Bob .

Thanks for the shout out!
When you pointed out the error, my heart sunk. Then I remembered Paul's Klown name was Typo. I can work with that.

What is the definitive word on the Moon Mixer mold? Is it "destroyed" as some have suggested? Is there anything salvageable if they needed/wanted to retool some of it?

I see MCM has an option for a digital subscription as well. I think this feature is a great excuse to trek down to my old hobby shop in West Allis, WI, and score this issue. Congrats and thanks for the heads-up!

I'll have to check at the nearest B&N to see if they have this issue. What a great tribute to them both.

Hey Bob, Showrods, Steve, and Dave(s).
Bob, Thanks for the shoutout! I have not seen the finished article. I'll have to check my mailbox. Dave - Thanks for noting the MCM digital subscription. As part of the MCM team, I would always encourage a subscription. If there are worries about the consistency problem MCM had a couple years ago, we now have a driven editor (and winning builder) who has the team working three issues in advance. Not to mention the great new look! Steve - B&N are no longer vendors. : ( Dave and Showrods - Atlantis would be the last hope.
If you want to order a hard copy online, check out Spotlight Hobbies.com. They are one of our prime vendors and they are great people. They also have a good selection of recent and Vintage kits. I did check the site and did not see the recent cover, but I would be sure that their shipment is in transit, so they will have them soon.
Take care fellow Klowns.
Scott

I've heard the molds for this series was in poor shape , and that's why there's never been reissues , and with all the issues using the same basic parts I could believe its true. If they do bring them back , I'd like the Guber wagon to be reissued as its the only one I dont have

I recently sold off my set. But... I also never nabbed the Guber Wagon. Go figure.
