She's done! It's a beauty of a build even without added detail. If using the kit pipes I think I would use good ol' Testors tube glue sparingly and do the center row one at a time. Cement the kit pipe flanges in place first. Just a little glue will hold the header pipe by itself after a few seconds, but allow lots of time for adjustment before the glue sets. Don't forget the two that point down! The outboard pipes are ok to assemble with the kit supplied jigs. Anyway, here's the finished model |

One of the ugliest race cars ever, IMO, but you've created a thing of beauty! A real beast for sure.

Thanks sjh, took a bit of patience to put together but at the end of the day it's more or less a pretty straight forward build. Parts cleanup is a big part of this particular kit.

When I first saw it in "Bikini Beach", I was confused on all 4 wheels smoking for the burnout; I didn't realize it was 4-wheel drive.

Many thanks professor. Again though, with some care -- especially to the center row of headers -- most anyone with a few kits behind them will have a beauty for the shelf even right out of the box.
