Nice idea for the Rambler. Its not too often you see a Rambler built, especially not as an AWB.... I´ll look foreward to seeing that one finished....

I built an SC/Rambler a couple years ago and went through about four Cady decal sheets. If I remember correctly, the decal sheet had both SC/Rambler stripe schemes on it.
I built mine with the red body side--blue hood & trunk stripe "A" scheme, which would mean perhaps somewhere in my pile of stuff I have four decal sheets with unused decals for the second, less garish "B" color scheme.
If I can find them, and if you want them, you can have 'em. I'll take a look tonight and see if I can find them.

About '69, there was an AMC TV ad. A kid by a Javelin with a blower thru the hood was telling dad.. "it's not meessed up- it's IMPROVED!" Or something like that. You could be on the right track,Doc.

Hey, Doc! Great minds think alike! I'm building a AWB Rambler, too! I'm using the Model King Mercury Cyclone Funny Car kit. It helps when you're in the same model club as David Burket (The Model King). He's a great guy, by the way.
Going with AMC power, too. Probably a dual quad tunnel ram from the Mighty Mat(ador).

I was considering dropping the S/C Rambler body down over the HemiHunter Dart wheelstander (soon to be re-released) since the decklid is already cut out - maybe a blown 401 in the back? Whaddya think?

scurvy, sounds like a sweet plan to me............that would look killer, even on the Hemi Under Glass chassis??? another idea to ponder!!!!!!!!!!!!
