Here's some pictures of the interior of my MAD MAX ROAD WARRIOR INTERCEPTOR, I custom made the tarp, bedroll, and added the chain, Double barrel sawed off shot gun (Thanks Joe), can of dog food, and weathered it to simulate the REAL CAR not a factory fresh version, Pictures of the completed car top come soon,..................................Chief

I just picked that one up from Hobby Lobby last weekend, using their 40% off coupon ... this is perfect timing, now I can steal ... er, get inspired by your build when working on mine!  The news had a story about writer/director George Miller talking (again) about doing a 4th movie, this time without Mel Gibson, saying he "thinks" that Gibson just wants to product and direct now and not act ... you can read between the lines on that, but if Miller really goes ahead with this, he better get a strong enough actor that will make people forget about who started the role in the first place. ROAD WARRIOR has been rumored to be coming out on a Special Edition DVD later this year ... there's some violence that was trimmed for the US release that fans hope might get restored, we'll see. I read a story about the film's preview showing, where the violence was much stronger, until the Australian distributor & producer Village Roadshow gave a list of cuts to Miller ... I don't know how much of this footage still exists. |
