I was just finishing up my Mad Mudder when we announced the start of Showrod open. I went gung ho into these 2 Drag builds. First is a Trouble Maker converted into a front engine dragster. I love the idea of the driver sitting outside in the bed. Primed black and masked off for Silver paint.[/img] Silver and Black. I plan to add Red pinstripe between the 2 colors. I'm thinking of using the Flame w/skulls decal Fred has used before they are long like the body. BUT.... I really want, but can't make myself, a " Kid Camino" name decal on the sides. Adding a set of steer horns on the hood and scale Cowboy hat I made on the roof..[/img] Here's what started as a major glue bomb.. I can't/couldn't get the side glass off. The glass is glued with tube glue a bead from end to end. No way I'm breaking it out then trying to remove the glue from that thin edge. So instead of trashing it I'm hoping mask it off and save it.? Here's "Pain Killer". a Boot Hill and Piranha bash. A rear engine dragster with that Skull for an airbreather.[ img] [/img] I don't know why but I pulled this project out and started foolin' with it.. Double Bubble.. .

At least we can see the Vette Bill and it looks great ;D! P.M. Steve H. and he will set you straight . The guy is a wizard ;D ;D ;D! (One of the things I noticed was that if you move your photos after posting them from whatever "album" you had them in to begin with, they will "disappear" . You might want to check that ) "Paulie"

WOW Bill, Those projects are so cool!!!!!! Especially like what you did to the trouble maker, turning it into a front engine dragster!!!! That thing is screaming for a driver figure, my 2 cents ;D ;D

Looks good! The engine up front and the driver in back just looks natural, for the Trouble-Maker build-up. The other builds are cool, too. (I've been considering a Boot Hill re-do, myself; but in a totally different direction: I was thinking more like a big fish tank, with mine.)
Keep sending in-progress shots, and we'll keep checkin' 'em out! :-)
