I'll tell you Bobby's problem. . . to many ideas too fast. . .and so he starts one. . and works along. . and something distracts him and he starts thinking . . . or "sees" another idea from inspirational work seen here. . and off he goes chopping and mudding to get the idea started because it is so cool. . .and he posts it. . and everyone pumps him up. . and he wants to build more of the latest build. .and the other ones . . . sit. . .
We just have to show him pictures of his old builds and how cool they really are to get him working on those again . . . heehe
And he needs less caffeine. . . and less stress and more recognition at work!
THIS IS ANOTHER TOTALLY COOL BUILD. . . the tires stick out a little too much for my taste. but I don't know any other way to suggest. . .
I LOVE THE WAY YOU THINK. . . .

Approximately so, it is already as it Barten said. Sometimes I have simply done, I can not do otherwise. I am working on a project, it occasionally happens, I wait, for example, until the color (from The Wine Wagon) is dry, look at my other projects and I have worked there at one... This is something:

I saw a Corvair pickup in a junkyard a while back and thought about doing about the same thing in 1:1. Cool!

Thank you! Even with this project, it means: Primed and sanded, everything is still in rough condition ... A first location determination. Front: Side: From top: From the rear: The sub-soil: Thanks for looking, and feel free to add your two cents whenever... ;D

Bobby, you're one amazing cat. I get away from the board for awhile and, when I get back to it, you've posted something else to blow me away.

Thank you very much. Continue. My buildings then advised to falter, if I do not know what to do next. Or if the desired objective can not reach, or it can not implement. The suspension, which is the topic. After much back and forth, I have found a solution. ;D This is the Vandal-rear axle and the suspension of the Beer Wagon-front axle. Track extension. I separate the axle, just next to the differential... ... and insert a tube in between. The new rear axle: Minor amendments... ... have sometimes a large effect ... It is still not quite ready, it requires even small amendments.

Thank`s! The next step. What is easy and quick looks, was in the execution very difficult, because the parts are very delicate. (Fragile) In order to drill in to correct place, I start with the measure. The front brackets have to go much further to the front, so I cut it in the middle... ... to extended it. Now I can determine the extension. For the extension, I use thin-walled tube of stainless steel. Because they front, run into each other , I have to cut they front side diagonally. And so, looks now, the finished product: Quick, a compilation. It fits! Hope you like this!

Thank you! ;D ;D ;D Wow, that worked nicely! Where'd you get the tubing? I have different diameters bought, from this company: NICKEL-CONTOR (HAYNES International) www.nickel-contor.ch/start/frameset2.php?sprache=enContinue. Engine and drive shaft. The drive shaft is too short and must be extended. It is based on the same approach. This is the compilation: So, the rear suspension and the drive, would be ready. Now comes the difficult part, however. The front suspension. I have no idea (not yet), how I should make this. Whether rigid axle (pendulum axis) , or an individual wheel suspension? Somehow it is (the whole front) too wide... Hmmmm... Any idea?

How about a drop straight axel with spoked skinnies hung well away and ahead of the body? Sweet little build you got going on... What's gonna ride in the mini bed?

Why not an Allard-style split front axle? The front axle is cut in half. Each half is pivoted to the chassis at the inboard end. Add a coil spring near each wheel and the usual radius rods Cheap and easy independent front suspension (although the camber changes a lot as the wheel goes up and down). There's a big picture of a red car going around a corner about 1/3 of the way down here that shows the front suspension fairly well: community-2.webtv.net/raydonggp/PeacockBlue/
