Hi, I am trying to ID what kit this part came from. It would be from a kit that was available in the mid 1970's. Please ignore the color, it's just silver paint not the actual part color. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

it doesn't look like a part from any car model i've ever seen. it looks more like the front end off of a toy car . they usually don't have a lot of detail in the chassis , and it had a guide hole in the center like it may have had a screw to hold it together. JMO !

it looks to me like it's a front crossmember / coil spring mount for a toy car, or maybe a diecast car. it doesn't look like a model car part to me.

What were you planning to do with it?
