As long as you are done by the deadline, you can start whenever.

I'm doing the website In an effort to push you guys to become more and more computer savy, I'm going to set up a special FTP (File Transfer Protocol) site for transferring the images directly to my server. This is real easy stuff to set up and there is a great free program that I use that is super simple.

Ok, we have 2 more additions to the contest bringing us to a whopping 41 which is outstanding. Let's see everyone make a good attempt to complete at least 1 build for Halloween. If we can pull this off, it's building up to be one of the very best Coffin Corner contests ever! A little under a month to build, feel free to jump in if you haven't already. Nobody cares about the level you are at so please participate. We all enjoy seeing everyone involved.
Thanks again for starting this one Tim and thanks to everyone who is participating. If not for Tim and this contest, I'd probably still not be completing anything...LOL!

41 entrants ? ! WOW !!!! this should be a really good one ! AND if some enter more than one build, it will be HUGE. i'm entering 2 builds, but i'm not sure if others are entering more than one build or not. just think, if everyone did 2 builds, there would be almost 100 to choose a winner from ! I think you're right aj, this could turn out to be the best contest we've had here. if not the best, it definitly will be the biggest as far as participants and entries go. i can't wait to see what everyone has cooked up in their couldrons for this contest !

Man, thats awesome. I'd like to see this become an annual event. And when I kick the bucket, you can make it a memorial contest. LOL.

I like it as an annual contest. . .and Also if we pick up two others./ . . we canm have three a year. . .and if they start and end on the same date weach year people will know when and what the contest is!
The swap contest is also another good one!
we just need one more!

I finally got some paint on my McHauler project. ;D As a first time kit bash fabrication for me, it has opened my eyes as to how talented and perhaps fearless all you guys are. I should be able to finish on time with no problem... oh the pressure. LOL Gerry G

Well I am throughly pi$$ed at myself! ... my cobweb classic entry is floating in the purple lake after spending the better part of the day painting the already prepped body and parts,,, I was applying one of my last highlight coats of Kandy when my rubber glove touched ... AAAARRRRGHHHH!!!!! the goods news is that at least the parts I Alcladed earlier today turned out great... it just wasn't my day to paint.. so the guns are cleaned up .. the booth is wiped down and the paints and clear cote put away and the light goes out for today .. on the good news side, my son is coming home on leave ;D and will be here tomorrow evening through the 28th before relocating his family to a base in Texas before deployment in Iraq ...so between visiting with him, his wife and playing with 2 grandsons finishing my Cobweb may be next to impossible .. I haven't given up just yet however.... ... Thanks for letting me vent .... Starry Eyes

Hey, man, tell your son I said thanks for sticking his neck out for our country. I'm sure you're very proud of him! Any chance he'll be taking some plastic over there to introduce to the "natives"? Matter of fact, thanks to any of you klowns' kids who step up. Takes a lot of courage! God bless 'em all!! And good luck with that paint job. Wish I was that far along.

He's spending time with his family,,(haven't seen him just yet) but when I do I will be sure he sees this post when he comes by later today or tomorrow .. Maybe I'll Cami up a model box and slip it in his gear (?) .. Ha!... my Cobweb entry is still in the stripper .. those layers of Kandy come off really slow !.....my second attempt to paint this thing will not be as aggressive with multi-layers and highlights simply because I'm running low on supplies !! Special thanks goes out to Hale for the motivational speech in getting me back on track with my project .. I was ready to throw in the towel .... Starry Eyes

I'm guessing that because I never got my build completed for the Cobweb Classic, I don't get to see the pics of those that did enter? Or is there a link that I can't find to the website? I know it's well past the deadline, so where can I find these builds? I want to see how bad I would have got beat if I had entered.

Thanks Paul. I should have figured your site since "you did the website". ;D I wouldn't have stood a chance with all those other builds.
