Here are the latest photos of the Big T/A Pick Up mock up. Note the engine, body, interior and bed have not been glued in place yet: I started with the Big T, then added sheet plastic to build the cab. The Pick Up bed is made from 2 Golden T beds. The wheels & Tires are from the Golden T and additional interior parts are from a 12th scale Ferrari. Paint is Testors Fiery Orange. Comments and suggestions are welcome!

As much as I admire your work, I don't think I'm worthy to make comments. Here is the only one that I would do if it were my build. The American Torque Thrusts really look great when the spokes are a little darker than the outer wheel. I'm sure you have thought of this, and I undestand it's a work in progress. It is looking fantastic. You are the 1/8 man!
As I get older, I find that 1/8 parts are a lot easier to see! ;D ;D ;D

I agree with you about darker spokes looking better. It is hard to see the darker spokes in the photos, but the wheels are Tamiya Silver Leaf, the front spokes are Testors Steel and the Mag Spokes are Model Master Magnesium.

Pssst! Bert! Those aren't Torq-Thrusts, they're CP-200 "Daisy" mags! Makes for a bit of a paint problem since CP-200's were composite - chrome steel rims with chromed (or painted) aluminum centers - like a Cragar S/S.

You are right Dave, I should have looked a little closer at the wheels. Thanks for the info.
Ira, I do see the changes in color on closer inspection.
