Hi all, new to the forum (here on the recommendation of a friend), thought i'd post up a recently completed Deora as an introduction.
Recent MPC release built OOB and finished in Candy Green, tonneau cover scratched from styrene sheets shaped and painted, vinyl is just masking tape - woodgrain hand painted.
Enjoy.

Welcome to the forum Santeras, I think you will like it here. Nice Deora. Do they all flip down in the front or is that your modification? mike

Glad that you joined Santeras. Nice work on the Deora and the tonneau looks great. I like it in green as well.

Welcome Santeras. You found the wildest and nicest bunch of Klowns in the model world. The Deora build is just super nice.

Thanks for the positivity gents, real nice place you have here Gracias to ShowRodJohn for the invite! There are two versions of the front access on the Deora Mike, the original had a central pivot for the front hatch so it swung open sideways (are you following this?) and the remodelled Deora (Deora II) had the drop-down hatch you see on my build. The screen on both was hinged at the roofline so it rose upwards, unfortunately on my kit the screen surround refuses to stay bonded to the glass and you can just see in the pics that it isn't joined on one side. Oh well. Unfortunately Joe this is my first show-rod build, most of my output is mid 60's muscle. I haven't even got round to building anything vaguely hot-rod.
