Wouldn't want to do an oil change on this guy... the drain plug would be the size of a pinhead. I saw the comparatively huge Imperial Walker in your post in the "Projects" section Tim, absolutely incredible! These Sci-Fi icons you have created are really outstanding. You sure there's not a job opening at ILM or Paramount that you should snap up? ;D Gerry G

Nice work on the builds. I'm actually working on a kit bash land cruiser idea myself.

I'm not even a Star Wars fanatic but I'll tell you what .. this thing would look so cool crammed in the new Flyin' Eyeball Coupe ... !! I can see a shifter in one claw, steering wheel in another, a tachometer ripped out with the wires hanging in another and one foot jambed on the gas pedal .. Ha-ha!! ... ohhhhh yeah ... killer job Tim on a super tiny project !! ..

LOL. Ironhead, there isn't much I haven't built at some point in my life. I have always loved Star Wars. I have built so many cars and bikes in the last several years, I just needed a break from it. These kits are fun, and challenging if you make them that way. Sci-Fi modelers, although not as friendly as this bunch, really build some incredible stuff. I've been pushing myself to higher limits with the stuff I've been building this year. The weathering, the lighting affects, all add to the complexity of these builds. Scratch-building takes on a whole new meaning in such tiny form, but I love the challenge. I still think about cars too, because I am a car guy at heart. I'm seriously thinking about building a 1:1 custom chopper in the next few years. It's another thing I have wanted to do most of my life, and have never done. I'm not getting any younger, so it's time to start having more fun!

Rodger, there's a lot of Sci-Fi guys over on the Hobbytalk board. Many of them are Star Wars builders. You might also check the forum at CultTVman's site. Nice gallery of buildups on that one and some great guys to talk to.
