Maybe a light wash to kill the highlights on those panel lines, and it's THERE!

I love it. I buiot a few of those. That and the Falcon were my two fav vehicles of all the movies growing up. I see you have the Sculpting a Galaxy book. I am considering getting it. Do you like it? Was it worth the money? And which version do you have. I know they have one that has some resin mock-up pieces in there and a Land Speeder model with it. When it first came out it was about $400, but you can get this version on sale now for $130 roughly.

The Sculpting the Galaxy book is a valuable resource for all of the models. I got it off Amazon for about 30 bucs too! (the binding is a bit weak! DON'T PAY RETAIL!) I also have several of the incredible cross-sections books, which are like 8-10 bucks on Amazon. They are really nice, very informative.
Yep Chuck, puttin' on the winter coat. It's down to like 75* here....Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......... ;D I'll think about you when your ass-deep in snow!! LMAO!!!
Dave, I had thought about doing the "bucket-trick" with these builds when I first start. Maybe putting a few drops of water-based black on the surface of a bucket of water, and dipping the whole thing in for a wash? Anybody ever do this?

very nice Tim, I am not much into the sc-fi stuff, but the do tend to be very cool to look at. i was in seattle Wa, this week and went to a comic shop at pike market and the had several of the actual models that were used in the star wars movies they only wanted a $1000 each
way beyond my means
yours looked just as good as those.
