Anyone here ever build one of these kits. I looks like it would be a crazy kit to build.

Anyone here ever build one of these kits. I looks like it would be a crazy kit to build. Sure have ... here's my build of the kit, which is in the Guest Gallery: www.showrods.com/gallery_pages/jolly_rodger2.htmlFun build too for the most part ... some quirky stuff with fitting the body on the chassis and the rear fenders, but otherwise pretty much problem free. I wish my build still looked like this ... after bringing it back home from a model show at the World of Wheels in St Paul, one of our cats pulled on the box it was in and it went crashing down ... now sitting on the bench for to finally put it back together again (that was a cursed weekend for the JR -- going TO the show, someone zipped in front of me and put on their brakes, so I had to slam on mine, sending the JR into the dashboard ... had to make some emergency repairs when I got to the show).

You know, I think that's a weird-ass kit, but I gotta tell-ya. The bashed version with the cut-outs for the rear wheels make it look a LOT better.

I actually found another boat that was mint and unassembled... but I already sunk the Mysterion coves into the glue bomb.. I have to figure out which parts I can blend together. I actually hope to work on it soon now that my winter break is here, along with another stalled one, since I just finished the two I was thrashing on for the ACME NNL.

Jolly Cool builds. I like all the Jolly Rodgers.. I started mine a few weeks back.( Step2 hooked me up with the Bod and parts) I did a 1/64th scale a few back and wanted the 24th. Here's a shot of both. 1/64th scale(Hotwheels size) 24th in progress

Always worth the effort. Heres mine. Built it after I did the Beverly Hillbillies and Grannies Rod. Doesn't it inspire you how they got the front mast??? wrong on the box cover
