Let me start by saying that Scott Carter is the same Scott Carter that used to be published in CARtoons magazine and more importantly, he is one of the coolest guys you would want to meet! He was very, very complimentary about the gift of the Island Girl and more grateful than I could have imagined. He left a message on my phone which I returned after a little time to settle. We talked for about a half hour and have plans to get together after the holidays. I do know one thing.... I was right to do a one off build. While Scott is primarily a military modeler, her does dabble in other venues. Being a professional artist, his work is amazing. Check out the link below to his site. fadedarmor.com/Scott Oh.... Here are some pics of a recent build of his posed with his gift. Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki

Well done, Scott!!! I liked reading your progress of this build, and it turned out awesome. I have to agree with rocketeer, I like your version much better than the "stock" one.

Artist indeed, as are you. His website has some fantastic work on it. Obviously his airbrush talents are above and beyond the norm, the models are really full of pizaz!
