Nope, I pulled my Monogram kit out, and it's not it. I'm going to guess it's an old Lindberg. Sorry Bert..... ;D
Funny, after getting the old Monogram kit out to check, I was looking at the cover of the instruction sheet which shows a picture of the model, and in the background is an ashtray w/cigarette, and a Zippo......"Hey kids, sit down, have a smoke, and enjoy your new Monogram assembly kit" Great advertising!!! ;D

I can yell you that the body is the original color . I seem to remember the tires split after a while, and thats why I was thinking Lindberg . I couldn't find any on Ebay and I figured someone here might know the name of the kit.

Yours is probably an original. I have this one from 1995 and 1967 and both come in a burgandy colored plastic. After comparing the decals on both you may be right calling it a Linderg. Dave

This is the other Lindberg. Wrong color body. Stromberg made a slotcar in that color I beleive.

Dave i don't think it's the monogram deuce roadster shown here. I built the monogram deuce roadster, and the body in THIS kit is in 2 peices with a seam right down the middle. it also appears that the seat is molded in to the body on the one that don is asking about. The seat was not molded into the body on the old mongram deuce if i remember correctly. if you look closely at the monogram one that i built here, you can see that the seat is different, and it also has the reaveals molded in the body from where the rear fenders are supposed to be. the one don is showing does not have the reveals for the fenders. the firewall is also completely different and it has the lower portion of the "frame" molded to the body. this is the monogram deuce that i built around 1996-97. the body, interior, grill and frame are box stock (same kit as the one showed by badroad)

I got this kit around 1974 or 75 . I remember this kit had full moon like hubcaps on it like in the picture from old school , the chrome didn't hold up well and I painted them silver (hey, I was a kid !) . The tires got hard and split ,they were vinyl , not plastic . I'm going to dig around and see if I can find any other bits to it. The decals are original to the kit ,I've looked on the internet for a while and can't find another like it.

The center one is the '29 ford model A roadster.Resently reisued with parts from the Ala Kart ;)Thanks Keith Well I know this string has been put to rest but I just had to throw these 3 bodies to the wolves ... The far right of the first photo is no doubt an AMT and possibly the far left as well except the the one on the far left (1st photo) has an opening trunk/rumble seat panel glued in place.. the one of the far left is a solid body .. it's the one in the center I'm not familiar with ..
