I hate it when they say "missing some parts/tires" ... they would be nice to have but not knowing completeness and a sketchy description makes me look elsewhere .. if the tires are missing that's OK.. but I wonder what parts he's missing specifically ?

Why would anybody in their right mind want old ones when all 8 have just been reissued? No missing parts, or worry about completeness.

No missing parts, or worry about completeness. exactly! why go through all the trouble? spend the $$ on the re-issues and you wil not have to be hunting for parts pr trying to fix old broken parts and scrape glue off.

No faded chrome or dried up decals to worry about either. If I enjoy one thing about new reissues, it's how the old ones that were horded for so long suddenly become disposable!

The auction is for a Zinger and a Super Zinger. There's a difference, the Super Zingers are much larger. There were two, see my site for more info. The Zingers have been reissued, but not the Super Zingers. There was only one release for the Super Zingers and from my many years of watching eBay they don't come up often.

When I sell incomplete kits on e-bay, I always list the missing part and part number. I have also included a picture of the missing part from the instructions. But hey, I'm a modeler that cares.
I've not ever seen a Super Stinger. It doesn't look as cool as the regular Stinger, goofy fan, pulleys, and no headers coming from the block. Something I find hilarious is the Little Red Stinger is molded in yellow. ;D ;D ;D ;D

The description is vague, and I can't tell if the seller is a modeler or not. He or she may be looking at the Corvette body and calling it modified since it doesn't have a front windshield or cowl.
