It's amazing what you're doing with this car, and it looks great! So much attention to detail.

Thanks to all! This WAS going to be little more than a curbside build-up and it's just kept snowballing into something more. Take these air cleaners for example. I wasn't happy with the way the top looked on them once I'd made the longer versions. They looked to plain, so I made new tops from the same lined stock I made the center console from. Then I wasn't happy with the way the bottom looked so I added a strip of stock to give it a 'base'. Here are the parts stacked up in place, they'll get bare metal covering too. And finished... Messed with the interiors a bit more too. Stay tuned, there's more to come!

I haven't enjoyed myself this much looking at an in progress build in such a long time! Frankly I almost didn't take a look cuz I've never really been that crazy bout the Monkees or their Mobile haha! But I have enjoyed your work in the past and you my friend have taken this kit to a whole new level. You really have got the vision an tha execution, and you've got my vote! oh well no contest? well I'd vote anyway haha!!!

I really like this build too. The eye-popping flaked paint is really nice, and that interior is really lookin' good as well. Should be a beautiful completed model! Nice work!

Thanks again everyone! Almost finished and should be done by Christmas, meanwhile... Here's some bits and pieces, ready to install... Exhaust parts in Bare Metal... The newer kits have rear fenderwells that fit the body nice, since this is a Frankenstein chassis, it doesn't... Or, I should say, didn't. Installed. Much better! I painted them to look like they have undercoat sprayed on. This should be the last 'build-update' I think. While you wait for me to finish it, name this Monkey! Seriously, the monkey needs a name.
