OK, some of you guys are more in tune with the history of kits and Tom Daniel in particular. The Bad Medicine is one of my favorite TD designs. What happened to the front end, the cow skull looks like Bull Winkle Moose? As talented as Tom is, surely he knows what a cow skull looks like. That's why I wonder if it's by design. It is a bad ass looking dragster with skeletons, bones a coffin type seat, and Bull Winkle on the front. Enlighten me fellows. When I build mine I intend to address this issue. For reference, look at Ramones fantastic entry in the last contest. Now, talk freely amongst yourselves. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yeah - that's what the steer's skull looks like in my kit(Ramones build)I admit it does look a little crude - but with the right paint it can look presentable.I think it's meant to be more of a caricature then real? That's my take on it ;)It'll be interesting to hear what other's think about this. Thanks Keith

I think any more adventurist builders could either redo the skull, or just re-sculpt a new one to look more realistic. That sure is a good reference pic Bert..... ;D

The Bad Medicine is also one of my favorites of TD's designs.
I never could figure out WHY he used a cow skull in the first place?
With no disrespect to Tom I think he should have used a skull and crossbones.....but that's only my 2 cents.......

Dave My guess is the stear skull harkens back to the old west when salesmen would travel from town to town harking there magical medicines to unsuspecting simpletons, promissing amazing results and then leaving town.

Heres a thought....................ask TD himself. ... .... LOL Now there's a good answer ;)Yes - back in the old west when the medicine wagons roamed around with their snake oils and such. One of the things to come out of that was pop (or soda for you south of Canada) ;DActully Coca-Cola - (as many others) - had Cocaine in it and was said to give you - GET UP AND GO WHEN YOUR GET UP AND GO - GOT UP AND WENT ;)I like this thread. Thanks Keith

For reference: I think Tory´s explenation is spot on as to why, there´s a steer head up front... The reason that it looks like it does - well, I dont know, but I like it.... ;D ;D ;D

No offense Tom, even a moose skull looks more "realistic" that the Platypus on the front of the Bad Medicine. ;D ;D ;D If you brought one like this home "up here" we'd have to call ya a "Calf Killer"!!! ;D ;D ;D (Not that there's anything wrong with "Tender Vittles"!!! ;D ;D ;D) "Paulie"
