I'm sure a couple of you guys have one or two for bashing. I need some input about the driver. What is the scale of the driver?
I plan on replacing his head, but I need an idea of scale for the replacement. I know he has a big ole' melon head, but a general scale would help my search for a Frankenstein type replacement.
Also, I may have to sculpt a head. What would you use? I remember some of you guys using "Sculpy" putty. Is that the product name, and where do I find it?

I've got one of those kits, I think the body is about 1/24 but the driver is a lot bigger than that. I'm at work now, but I'll take a pic of the driver head and body with a ruler next to it, would that help?
I've used Super Sculpy for sculpting small figures, it's pretty easy to work with. You can get it at craft stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby. I've heard of people using a special 2 part epoxy for sculpting as well but I don't know much about that technique.

Thanks guys! No need for you to go to that kind of trouble. I have the kit and can do that myself. I just wanted a modeler's guess. The truck body is the same as a Zinger. I don't know if he would be closer to 1/16, 1/20, 1/18, etc. I don't have a bunch of figures to compare him to.

I'll have a look at it later, but I think the driver is about 3 times the scale of the truck body. So if the truck body is 1/24, the driver would be 1/8 or so. The truck may be a smaller scale then I'm remembering though, I'll take a look at it at home. The regular Zingers are definitely smaller than that, they're more like 1/48. But the CB Freak uses the Super Zinger "Fired Up" body which was a lot bigger than the regular Zingers.

OK... I just cracked open a factory sealed CB Freak .. compared it to a Little Red Zinger and the body's are within gnat hairs of the same size .. I compared the driver of the CB Freak to my 1/12 Supper Digger driver and the CB Freak is much smaller than the 1/12th scale driver in that kit ... and much larger than a couple 1/24th scale I compared him to .. I'm saying he's in the neighborhood of 1/20th maybe?

Thanks for the help Fellers'! That's good info for me to build upon. I'll let you know how my search turns out.
I knew choppin' heads and swapping bodies would get Fred out of the lab. ;D ;D ;D
