The popular Weird-Ohs® model kits - the classic 1960s multi-million selling phenomenon... Bill Campbell is another one of my favorite artists, he is behind the Hawk model companies 1960's Weird-Ohs series. He also did the box art for many WW2 planes, trains and cars witch proved him to be an all around great artist. The Weird-ohs series later spawned the Frantics, the Silly Surfers and an off-shoot line of plastic toys, Halloween masks and board games. The Hawk company has recently re-released the Weird-ohs, Frantics and Silly Surfers kits with the original box art. Drag Hag
Her name is Drag Hag and she`s cute (?) as she can be A more wayout Mother you will never see
The carriage that she drives boasts blower, headers and slicks And with those tight stretchpants she is one of the slickest chicks
Her face is not realy great but does that truly matter? `Cause when she goes through the clocks the records she does shatter
Her attire is not the type that on the drag strip you see Nevertheless when she goes past the boys all whistle, " Whee! "
Her gearshift knob is different being bottle, cap, and nipple But then, what can you expect- her car is painted "baby burp stipple"
So to her we doff our hats ( although we are inclined to gag ) In simple terms may we say, "Godspeed, dear Drag Hag"Well, this is my version, just finished today, hope you like it, hm , her.

Awe some work as we have come to expect from you Bobby. Great stuff. Looks like a fun kit to do. Get a few more of them and you would have the line that forms at the local social security office on a Monday morning ;D

Thank you very much for the kind words! I have painted the stroller with Tamya spray cans, as well as wheels and rims. The rest was painted by hand with Acrylic mat paints (FIN by WACO, great experience). These colors can be diluted with water or abrasion-proof. For the eyes, mouth, teeth, tongue, all shiny areas, I cover it with Enamel Paint No.1 by Revell. The Wheeliebars are made of wire, with front wheels of a hotwheels car. The buttocks of the beauty is filled with lead pellets, so that the whole makes a wheelie... The Drag Hag`s original kit hair I did not like at all. So I cut it off and replaced it with this disheveled here, glued on a new rear head plate. The hair is made from this: My wife bought a winter jacket, and this is the detachable hood, which she did not want to wear anyway. I took it immediately to me, cut off a piece and fit it to Drag Hag`s head. Sometimes it's that easy! ;D

She reminds me of my first wife Bobby - down to the clothing.... Thank you for the hair Idea, I agree that the molded hair looks ummm you know... Back in the day, Hawk made a line of goodies for customizing the weirdos and such - which included hair...
