Looking for old puttied up builts from the 50's or 60's to restore!! You know the old threaded plugs motor, courdoroied seats and puittied fenderd kits!! Am transforming my hobby shack into an old time HOBBY STORE !! Any old builts ,busted ,broken, puttied !! Can trade for new stuff,(prefer restoring the old stuff)!! hence OLDCARRESTORER!! ;D

wow, cool kits ! With the exception of the Furvette , I would be hard pressed to rebuild the others. I think they look cool the way they are ; kind of a time machine when kids had the time and imagination to build them. A lot of these cars got globbed up and ruined, but whoever did these did a pretty nice job - IMHO !

I would leave all of them just like they are. The angel hair was big at that time, so the vette fits right in. Maybe a little much ? but I would leave as is. Just my 2 cents.

I dunno Mike how many angels were sacrificed..lol.. but I've often thought about popping all the original chrome off and dropping the entire build into some Castrol Super Clean for a few days top see what might emerge ... who knows maybe Elmer's white glue was used to install all the "hair" .. There just might be a shiney diamond underneath all that angel hair .. ;D
