Tamiya white primer spray can and masking tape if needed. For this build I just painted the insert.

I cast those inserts in resin... cheap flat white enamel works fine.

I use the hole template that draftsmen use. There is usually a size that will suit. Tape of the rest and spray through the hole. You can get them from stationary shops for a few bucks.

If the tires are vinyl you have to use acrylic paint because enamel will never really dry.

I friend once showed me some he did with round white labels from Staples or a place like that. They looked good too. I think with paint it has to be acrylic and not enamel, which will never dry.
