I hope the packing is better for my luck. I got the Rattler Lot of 11 cars, The sand dragon and bugs bunny, and 1 other lot. Sorry to hear about the breakage Lou. I was watching that one also. When I emailed him he said he got the collection on a deal. Would have been nice to get a deal like that and pick and choose.

Got mine the other day and surprise the Rattler made it beside missing one rear fender. Even the tongue survived the trip. Does anyone have a right rear fender for a Rattler.?? As for the rest of the cars.. White hazed crazy glue...hope that some is saveable.

he seems to be a fairly nice guy, he sent me a free model to make up for the damaged ones. I got it in the mail yesterday and it's the Cement Mixer. a broken front axle, but otherwise intact. I told him I may bid on one more auction of his, but not sure. we shall see

hard to recognize that Serpent whoever built that thing glued parts of the Laramie Stage Ghost fuel tank on the bonnet close to the window very strange ... other parts are missing
in other auctions there is a CALIFORNIAN hiding ... and a Groovy Grader ... psychedelic painting a if it came right out the BEATLES yellow submarine film
I think the seller knows very good what he is doing ... in all the auction lots there is one rare kit and the rest is average or trash

It still amazes me that some kid had the time and money to build so many custom cars !

I have gotten three cars from him now and not one is built correctly. some parts are just glued where ever and one (Cement Mixer) has four rear wheels that don't even touch the ground, the suspension is a mess. hopefully I can get them apart and fix them

I hads a bunch on my "saved" list , but after hearing about the way these were built I changed my mind. These showrods have a lot of small irreplaceable bits and if those were superglued in , well you guys all know what thats like!

I have a bid on the CALIFORNIAN . But that is all I am bidding. Looks like alot of work to bring that one back from the dead. He just listed some other stuff ,but don't look like much. The best thing I seen is Ed Roth statue.

I really cant believe some kid had all these grails ! He must have had some rich parents and nothing else to do. I mean I built kits quickly when I was a kid and it showed, but after I built one I was off doing other stuff kids used to do back then -play games ,ride bikes, go sledding, hiking , etc. And I know my parents wouldn't be buying me a model a week .It would be kind of interesting to know the history of these kits. I believe it. Though mostly in the '80s, I shudder at the models I chewed through as a kid when I look on eBay. I got one nearly every time we went to the store, five or six for each birthday or Christmas, and older guys gave me all their glue bombs... At one time I laid out 100 built models on my bed, and that didn't include the boxes of beaters and parts.... I remember giving away huge boxes of cars to the neighbor kid. I could slam one together in under an hour with some paint pens. Then I'd rip them apart for wheels and blowers when the next kit came in...

Well I received my 2 boxes from Miguel today ... My take is these (mine anyway) were setting in a basement or shall we say a not so climate controlled environment .. Not necessarily moldy but just dirty/ musty like ... (?) A couple cars I looked at initially I just laughed and tossed back in the box..with absolutely no hope for salvage and everybody knows I like a good challenge!! But on the other hand a few of the "others" I received I believe will make great orphans for my collection ... time will tell I guess !!! and I have to agree , the type of glue that was used was some pretty mean sh!t .. I was fortunate that only a couple parts were glued where they shouldn't have been ...all in all I think I got what I paid for ...

someone suggested it could be "Mighty Putty" that Billy Mays used to do commercials for, but I don't know if it gets that hard when dry

I'm thinking several of mine were assembled with JB Weld and possibly 2 part body putty (hard yet pliable grey stuff).. it was a grayish/gritty material .. on the other hand there were a couple that came apart easily with assembly being done after the parts were painted...
