Due to financial needs relating to a new business, I have made the difficult decision to sell my Laramie Stage Ghost kit.
Details:
The kit is complete and unbuilt. The box is very good with some minor wear on the corners and edges but is very displayable.
As most of you will know, this kit is 1/16 scale and was one of three show rod kits that Pyro released in this size. I used to own the Sno-Skeeter as well. When I obtained the Stage Ghost and inventoried it, I discovered that some original owner had started to build the motor and had made a rather messy job of it. I swapped out every part that had been altered in any way from the Stage Ghost with identical new parts from the Skeeter. The two kits shared some parts including motors, the only difference being molding color. So my Stage Ghost is completely unbuilt but a few of the parts are a different color than the bulk of the kit.
Price:
As you also all know, this kit is the rarest of the rare and almost never available. I purchased an entire collection a few years ago just to obtain this kit, and sold the rest of the collection off again. A recent eBay sale netted over $1000 for a sealed Ghost and this is the first one that I've seen sold for a long time. I am looking to sell this kit for market value, meaning it is worth whatever the high bidder is willing to pay. I am only sacrificing this treasure out of committment to my current new business. I would prefer to avoid eBay and sell direct to a collector, but will list the kit on eBay soon if no one here is interested in making a fair market offer.
Contact:
Please send any questions/offers to me at greg@dogwoodguitars.com OR gmax@ecr.net. I will anwer all questions in detail, and I can supply high resolution images of the box and parts. PLEASE do not reply with offers here, send them to me via email per the wishes of the administrator.
Thanks for looking and I hope to hear from some of you soon.
Greg
