I need to know the best way to remove decals from a painted car, Thanks.

If they are not clear coated, try scotch tape or masking tape. If coated, you'll probably have to strip the paint. Hope this helps. Plenty of other good suggestions should show up.

It really depends on the age of the decals . If they from the 1960s they are a real pain to remove ; I've had some where the glue still was on the plastic ,even aafter the paint was removed ! I guess the easiest way would be to soak the kit in hot water for a while to try and loosen the glue .

Lots of patience, elbow grease, and 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper.

I've had decent results with Naptha(lighter fluid for the old flip lighters)..sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't...if it's clearcoated..forget it...stripping is about the only choice then. I've also heard that "oops"or "goof off" works...but haven't tried it myself....mike
