Since this is my first real post, I wanted to start with a kit from the series that brought me back to the hobby. As a kid, I had all the Deal's Wheels kits. The Nomad is one of my favorites. This one qualifies as a restore and a great ebay score ($15 - mis-listed). Thirty years later, after finding a built-then-busted Swine Hunt at a local hobby shop ($5), I was rebit by the modeling bug. Thanks for looking!

Great resto job ! I got a built Stinkray for around $15.00 on Ebay years ago because it was listed as "cartoon car" , but $15.00 for a Nomad is a real steal !

Thanks all for the welcome. I've been skulking around Dave's, Tres' and Paul's sites for inspiration and entertainment over the years. Just thought it was time for me to admit I was addicted to plastic.

Sweet build, and great photos! Likin' lots about it, but the muted metals set everything off, really nicely. Well done! ... and let's see some more stuff from ya, when ya get a chance to...!

Just thought it was time for me to admit I was addicted to plastic. Admitting you have an addiction is the first step in totally indulging it. ;D ;D ;D ;D Great resto job! Brian

Nice build. It's good to see these Deal's Wheels rise from the ashes and restored to their best possible condition.
