The '57 cHevy has appeared on these pages before but I found out over the weekend that Revell also authorised full size versions of the Zzzzzz-28 and Swine Hunt.
I seem to remember in the dim and distant past seeing a VW based cartoon zzzz-28 kit you could buy but I'm not sure it was an "official" Deals Wheels product.
Anyone have any leads on what happened to the real things?

Don't know if it was licensed or not but this is what the VW kit looked like - they show up on the bay from time to time

I guess when you live on an 'Isle', you need a really small car to drive

That's the fella! I knew someone here would have a photo.
Really small car? I was out and about last weekend and saw not one, but two, late '50's Buicks sitting in a drive way. On this island I reckon there must be all of ten miles of road he could use them on. Still, when you've got to have a land yacht, you've got to have a land yacht.

That's not it. I saw a picture several years ago, of the Zzzzz-28, and it had huge fender flares and even a figure sittin' in it like the model kit. I bet Moriarity would know. I'll see if I can find out from him and get him to post what he knows.

all I know about it is what I have read on Tres web site, can't remember the web address now but you will find it if you search deals wheels. The full size cars were built by Jim Allen out of denver. I have the 57 again, it is the 4th time I have owned it. Guess I better keep it this time

Marks definition of "crap" and mine seem to be worlds apart! LMAO!!!
That old race kart looks a lot like the frame on the ones my Dad raced in the early 60's on oval tracks in Indiana.
I love the Bike Truck, the Dream Rod is incredible, Dean Moon's boat is a fantastic piece, and of course your Futurian is just totally bitchin' to no end...... Keep the showrod torch burnin' bud. Hey, how about those Bubble Trike pics and the scoop on that one? Is it restored? All original?

the bubble top trike was built by Ron Ebert of california cycle works in about 71. sometime in the 80's it got painted in a pacman theme I used easy off oven cleaner on the body to get back to the original paint and sanded it off the bubble. I started with 320 grit and worked down to 3000 grit then polished it.

I just finished the copy edit on the two Zingers for Zombie... very cool. I'd love to have the lawn mower and the trike for articles....

Tres still credits me for the Zingers (real-life) photo but unfortunately the link is no longer correct. I've tried reaching him through his site. Anyone know how to contact him?
