Well we all know testors makes some decent paint but their nozzles are lacking so i decided to make my own. First step was tracking down aftermarket nozzles or "caps" as they are called in the graffiti scene I don't know about you guys but i love fan tips. Well you need to get Calligraphy caps *warning these aftermarket caps do not work with testors cans but the nozzles have the same .5 mm opening. Now the fixing first we take the two test subjects, Then remove the nozzles followed by giving the fan nozzle a slice to remove the peg that goes into the cap. Now we use a piece of .5mm metal rod to act as a mating device for the fan tip and the stock testors nozzle. A bit a glue around the edge of the testors nozzle and slide the two together. The nozzle is glued in place and does not rotate but for me that's ok because i have it in the vertical position. This was tested on a piece of foam board and worked great with no leaks now i'm just waiting for better weather to really got down to paint work. If this goes all wrong i have about 500 nozzles that rust-oleum sent me. You can see lots of dried spilled blue paint that's from learning the replacement caps i bought did not work on testors type cans and is not from this homemade nozzle.
