If you could pick just one model out of your collection of completed built-ups, (remember, just ONE), and have that exact showrod sitting in your garage tomorrow morning as a full-size, 1:1 scale, fully-operational, keys-already-in-the-ignition, full-tank-of-premium gas, ownership expenses covered, ready-to-drive showrod, which one would it be? Please post a picture of which showrod from your finished builds that it would be. (Remember, this has to be one of YOUR builds; no posting of a John Teresi over the top custom... unless of course, your John Teresi!) ;D ;D ;D Also, give a short explanation as to exactly why that'd be the showrod you'd want to have, "for real". Okay, I'll go first; mine would be this: Not because of the topic or the machine guns, (sometimes I wish those in road traffic...) to see rather at how this wild thing goes, and if I could get out to get everything, where are the limits on the machine, or mine... ;D Now, lets see what'd you want in 1:1 scale!

Well, it would have to be this one: Simply because I love the design, and I think the wheels I used, makes it even better...

WOW! What a great idea for a thread. OK here goes. This is the one I wanted to build. I even found a company that makes a fiberglass body. Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiThis is what Nani Asked for... I would be willing to give it a try. The engine and trans would have to be milder. Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiThis is what will have to get built first: Hosted on FotkiHosted on FotkiThats a picture of the first Sprite. I have another shell. Now I need time and $$. Flounder

I would have a hard time choosing the General Viper or a Tribute of a real 1 to 1 that a friend of mine has 68 Hemi Dart so many variations in DOH, surprised this wasn't already done by Cooter. General was 4x4d and in the film had a modern Hemi fitted....

How radical would that be. Red Baron rear engined with machine guns??.
so many models have been made 1:1, or designed in 1/24th.
here in the UK and elsewhere. Revenge C Cab etc.
Voodoo Spider comes to mind as well...

Well....if it's supposed to be a "showrod" then I guess it has to be this one: But, if I could choose any of my built-ups.....then I'd prefere this one:

Okay. I'll play. I would like one of these... or perhaps this... Didn't build the second one but as soon as this mail strike is over I should be getting the snap version to add to the pile. ;D Gerry G

Great thread. Make me think of Eldon Titus since he actually did build his favorite model.
It's been fun to see who picks what. Outrageous seems to be no problem with this group. Gotta Like it.
Rick - You probably already know that your truck is very close to P'od Pete that can be seen at the Jay Leno's garage site. Save your pennies.
