This kit was finished a while back, but I still enjoy the finished model and the good memories from building it. I made a few mods on it like repositioned flaps, control cables from brass wire, a hollowed out fuselage with a new Lucky Pierre pilot figure, and all the chrome was stripped and polished before sending it to Chrometech for re-chroming. I also added chrome nuts and bolts to the sides because it dressed up an otherwise bland fuselage. Even the propeller was chromed and then the wood grain painted in. I used decals from a 1/32 Nieuport which were more detailed and graphic than the Deal's Wheels decals that were stick ons. The whole plane was mounted on a clear acrylic base to display. It was a fun little build and gave me some great ideas for building another one. I managed to get a new one on Evilbay this weekend! If you enjoy it half as much as I did, then you know I enjoyed it twice as much as you! LOL

Thanks for the compliments. I would like to build another with more mods, but time is slipping away so fast these days.
