This is something I've wondered about for a long time, and now with the 1:1 gallery images.. I wonder some more. They are very similar, the headers, wheelbase, rear deck height and seating position are similar... I wonder if it was updated into the Pool Hustler, and who originally built it, as the Magic Carpet is credited to a different owner, apparently.. or Did Steve build it for him, and then take it over? Lot's o' questions... anyone know the answers?

I'd say it was obviously the same car, based on all the things you noted, plus the valve cover and the frame below the engine; but I can't provide any information.

I don't think I've seen that insert picture actually shooting pool on Hustler.. After building my Cool Table I started stashing stuff to build another using Batmobile fenders. BiLL..
