Just picked this up and spent an evening on it... I've had a ton of VWs, including a few bajas, a four-seater fiberglass T-bucket thingy, and a Manx-style buggy but never a rail job... I plan on making it street legal with some Cragars on the back, but keeping the digger tires for off-road play. There are some people near me who go camping and trail riding... sounds like a fun winter project... Now if I can just figure out how to stuff a hemi in it..... Muwhahaha...

Thats awesome brandon! what do you mean by, "now if i can figure out how to stuff a hemi in it." ? all you need is a 70's olds toronado transaxle and an adapter plate to bolt the hemi to it and you're in bidness. oh and of corse then there would be the issue of not enough space, but that's not a big deal....lol.

Well ALL-RIGHT Brandon, cool to see you doing something for yourself since you built the dune buggy body sandbox slide for the kids, LOL!

Love the pipe buggies! That one looks a little under powered though...

My buddy has several buggys, I bought this one from him... The shot is in his shop. He's putting the fiberglass one back together with a full cage and stuff... It's going to be cool.
