Revell's Mongoose Dragster re-issue

I just realized that the brand new Revell mongoose dragster is the same issue as Monogram's 1/24th scale prudhomme/mongoose rear engine rails from the early 70s. Comes with the engine wiring and christmas tree. I am just suprised that they ressurected this tooling.and thought this was just another old revell dragster issue.

It's the same tooling as this kit.. (Not my build)

Coolsville! Looks like it still come with the Christmas tree and the standing ear covering starter! Such a great old kit, glad to see it back!

yeah I noticed a boat load of Mongoose options for the goose on slixx.com

revells r/e goose dragster pretty much makes the aftermarket decals I paid lots of money for useless

oh well.. at least it's not 20 more revell nascar kits....

Anyone repro the old decals??? I want the Snake for sure!!! We at Model King wanted to run this a few years ago but it feel through.....looks like we had a good idea.
