I took someones suggestion on using Aleene's Original Tacky Glue for glass and bought some. I finally got a replacement back glass for my Silhouette and would like advise on gluing it in place. Running a bead doesn't seem like the best option, maybe brushing it on? Can you thin it and wick it into the gap? What would you suggest? Thanks, Dave

You should have told me you needed a rear replacement glass, I have one. As I mentioned if you ever need any parts ask me first, if I have it , it's yours.
Does the glass fit tight? If it does then it doesn't need gluing. Sometimes you can glue a small piece of plastic to the edge of the glass (as a tab) and then glue the plastic to the underside of the body support.

You could use Microsol Kristal clear. It doesn't damage the glass and it dries clear. I use it all the time and never had any problems.

Just apply it along the bottom edge of the glass & put the glass in place. You can also wipe up any excess glue with a wet Q-Tip. Easy Clean Up for mistakes!!! If you need more , quicker sticking power, try G-S Hypo Cement. Its used to glue watch crystals.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I wound up taping the bottom of the body, running a tiny bead and leveling it with a toothpic, a little on the top edge of the rollbar piece. As long as it dries clear, I should be OK.
