Does anyone know how to save vintage decals so the don't crack apart and are eather unusable or I have to spend hours putting them on the kit in peices

Does anyone know how to save vintage decals so the don't crack apart and are eather unusable or I have to spend hours putting them on the kit in peices I use enamel clear.. a nice even coat and pin the corners of the sheet own to keep it from curling..

Hi' I use decal maker spray adhesive. That works good for me. I spay a couple of thin coats on them & let them dry for a couple of days. Hope this helps. Dennis

You can brush-paint a coat of Microscale Liquid Decal film on top of the old decal sheet. It is perfect for this type of application.
