Will the Munster Koach come out of retirement? Will a new Koach be built? Will it be a tuner car with a sunroof with Herman's head sticking out? A 1 hour drama? Are they friggen nuts! Let's start a lottery...I give it 3 episodes before it is pulled...anyone else?

There is some hope, Bryan Fuller is writing it. He did a short lived show called "Pushing Daises" that was smart and very entertaining. Though not a goofy comedy like the original, this remake might be worth giving a look see.

Eddie Izzard as Grandpa???.
Mason Cook as Eddie.
~~~~~~~~~
Both of 'The Koaches' are in the US now. Cars of the Stars closed down. and the 'Original' one is in Miami.
The 'Refurbished one' could be used. New Engine/disk brakes etc...
How many times has it failed already?
Why can't they use their imaginations and create something new?
The way I see it some things should never be remade......The Munsters and the Three Stooges are a couple.
EVERYTIME someone tries to re-create a classic t.v. show, they ruin it. They need to leave well enough alone and leave the munsters as they originally were.
They selected the characters very carefully and I think they came as close as they could. Not bad for a remake. Hell when I saw the commercial I thought they were the real ones and then it hit. NOT !!! Still not to bad. oneyed
Why make a classic comedy show a drama? Oh well.
I think that big dude who played Raymond's brother on "Everybody loves Raymond" would have been perfect for Herman!!! He's freakin' huge, and has that deep voice!! AND he's a goofball! LOL.
Just watched "Mockingbird Lane" and I gotta say I liked it a lot. Very quirky, clever and well acted. Love the sets and the makeup and costumes. Though classified as a "drama" it was more of a dark comedy. No sign of a "Munster Coach" yet, but "Spot" showed up at the end. Anyone else give it a look?
I can already tell you that this show is putting a stain on the Munster name and the Munster legacy. NOTHING will ever compair to the original cast and original show. They're ruining the Munster name for generatioons to come! just think, in 20 years when people are talking "remeber the Munsters?" they'll be thinking of this crap show, and not THE original Munsters. It makes me sick!
I have read that it won't be a TV series just a one-off Halloween special. Not sure what to think some parts I liked and some I didn't, Where did you see it? TV? Yes it was on NBC.
I watched it last night ... nothing compared to the old version for sure but I thought this version was entertaining .. the old , original versions of ALL the TV shows are cool but DO get boring me to watch them over and over... I took it for what it was and the crowd it was geared towards... to each their own ...
I'm certain it will never be aired again. awful.. just awful
