Anybody familiar with "Hot Shot & Hot Dog" kit?

I've acquired an incomplete version of the old MPC "Hot Shot" figure kit, missing the arms, and am contemplating whether to try to build it or get rid of it. I would have to fabricate his arms, which I could do, but I'd like better references on what they should look like. (I do have a couple boxtop pics from the Interweb.)

(Hot Shot was Hot Curl's skateboarding brother.)

Anybody have pics of a build-up, an instruction sheet, anything?

I can get you more detail from closer images and side panels on the box. These came in a two pack, wrapped together, had Curl's Gurl kit along with kit of Hot Shot & Hot Dog. Hot Shot came with three heads, Curl Style with the big nose, a more realistic surfer guy, and a Rothesque monster head with a surf helmet (at least according to the drawings).

Unfortunately mine is still sealed and will likely stay that way so I can't do much on the inside part or instructions examination, this one's way low on the gotta-built-it list and it ages better staying sealed.

Both kits could be had for a discounted price of $2, with the free full color Hot Curl bonus art included on the back of the package.

I say build it, they look like they are made of sculpey anyway!

You are right, they have been mentioned on the potential list for 2012, would figure these to be subject to validation of order quantities to insure the run, this will affect actual release and timing.

Would say this still says build it, sculpey (or epoxy putty) will be cheaper than the reissue as well. With the reissue potential, if you are considering moving it out, now's the time, only mint stuff survives the reissue value drop well.

Well, I just learned something new, I never knew there were more "Hot Curl" stuff offered..... I tried several times to get the original MPC '29 Ford Roadster PU/woody kit that included Hot Curl, but ended up getting Jimmy Flintstone's 1/18 instead. I hope these do get reissued, along with Hot Curl hisself!!!

Thats awesome John!!!! And yes, they are supposed to be reissued, I've had them on preorder for like a year..... I hope they do it!!!
