I am no longer using eBay, their seller protection is atrocious. I have had to deal to often with buyers who are trying to scam me. I just got scammed out of over one hundred dollars on a pressed steel toy truck, even though I had proof the item was delivered. I am done dealing with eBay and the crap they give sellers.

Sorry to hear about you getting scammed. I've often thought about trying to sell off some of my hoarded kits on ebay, but lately I'm hearing all kinds of stories just like yours. Maybe I should just stock up on glue and paint and BUILD the dang things instead....?

Their fees have become outrageous, especially if you accept their cash cow PayPal as payment. Those two combined amount to about 18% of your total sale price AND the shipping fee you charge the customer.

Oh ho A seller is claiming he did not get his kit. It was delivered on 08/13/12 with confirmation number, address, city and state.
hummm - I have read ebay regulations and it states as long I have delievery confirmation with number and address the buyer is liable.
If an Item is more than 250.00 you need a proof recipients signature.
Thing is .......I opened a non buyer case on this cat and he paid me after three days....case closed
I think he's trying to scam me for that.

I'm a buyer for certain items on "Da-Bay" .. haven't sold for many, many years there because of Corp. greed .. I deal here with friends or friends of the internet I've come to know and speak with on the phone .. I've even found a deal or two on Craig'slist .. 18%-20% fees between eBay and Paypal .. not from me they don't !!
