It could be E. J. Potter, a k a the Michigan Madman, a legend of the American drag strip who earned his nickname riding 170 miles per hour on a motorcycle he fitted with a Chevy V-8, and who later went nearly 200 m.p.h. on a three-wheel bike powered by a jet engine, he died on April 30, 2012, he was 71. I'm not sure, but he has done a lot in this direction...

I'm not sure, but he has done a lot in this direction... It's not E.J. Potter. The attached artical says the rider is "unknown", or is only known by the names his wife called him... "Idiot" being one of them.
