Today in the mail, out of the blue, I get a large envelope from Harley Richards, containing a wonderful hand-drawn/colored illustration of the "Drag-ite" gasser I'm working on! (no, it hasn't died, it's still on the bench...) I'm thrilled!! Thank you so much Harley!! It's just awesome!! Earlier in the week, although a bit bizarre, I get a box of Dean's builds, still not sure of the whole story on that one, but also most appreciated. Over the years, I've made some good friends here, and I want to say I appreciate having you all to talk to every day, and a sincere thanks for all you do for me. Canney sent me killer Surf Woody wagon, Joe has sent me numerous things inclduing the great tires. Rob, Bill, Chuck, Bill (Big Red Wolf) and countless others have sent me parts I needed...AJ alone is responsible for my nearly complete TD collection. Dkal Dan for his kindness and aawesome finish to so many of my builds. Dave Marek, (who also made me a killer print of my Uncertain T'rantula) Brandon, Dave McG, Boom, Dawie, all of you are constant inspiration. Barten for his many prayers in all of our hard times.....Charlies thougtfulness...Chiefs too. (tiki mug) Martin, Scott C., Rick, for the great input and prodding me along...Steve H. just because you can't help but love the crazy SOB! There's too many of you now to thank, but I remember what all of you have done over the years. Not at the end of the list, many thanks to Dave the RallyMaster for bringing us all together. I'm proud to be a part of this, and I thank you for being my friends. (Sorry, I get mushy as the holidays come around....LOL)

It's not that we like you... We're trying to keep you so busy you won't have time to participate and wipe our asses in upcoming contests.
geez I forgot all about that hawk wagon...

I agree. . . and Dean dropped off a bunch more at ma house last night and spent the night. . it was good to see him again and hope he is not gone out of the hobby for long. . . the way he thinks on his builds and paint is just wild. . .
I agree there is a great group of guys that join together here. . . all because of plastic models!
And if any one needs parts. . . I have the parts! I don't know what they all are but I have them! ! !

me too tim. there have been countless people here who have sent me parts, glue bombs, and even complete un-built models. i think we are all on the same page as far as parts & models go. need a part, ask...have a part, offer it up. i too am thankful for all the stuff that i have gotten over the years from all of you guys. not only parts, but friendships. thanks to dave r. for making it possible for us all to become friends here. i don't look at our friendships as virtual, because i think we are all closer than that. ok tim, now you got me all mushy........

Go ahead and get emotional, we all do sometime. Just don't get your glasses wet or you might ruin them and you can never find a good eyeglass person when you need one. Now, take all the stuff you got and build something, eh! And don't make RickG cry in his paint either (oh, that is a true pic of him online). Wait...there's no crying in Showrods! Or was that baseball /

I appreciate your kind comments Tim! The Coffin Corner sure wouldn't be the same without you. Took awhile to get you here but once you got here, you've became a permanant fixture. Your builds have inspired plenty here (myself included) and will continue to do so. I've been here since the beginning with Dave and it's definitely cool to see it continue to grow.

...I have to say this is one fine FAMILY UNIT! I feel more at home here than anywhere! I too am VERY GRATEFUL for my new friends, and the opportunity to be a part of this family! Thank You All!!! Bill Clark I want to echo Bill's words. He nailed it for me. This IS one fine family unit. Sometimes we let each other down (sorry Tim) and only very rarely is there any friction between us klowns. Almost all of the time it's the most jovial, fraternal and supportive fringe group on the planet. There ain't many of us, in comparison to the 6.whatever BILLION humans on this old mud-ball, but we are a special, strong and hopefully growing family. I am so proud of, and grateful for, all the decals I've been able to make for this family. You can't imagine the endorphin cascade I get when I see, in pictures or in person, a model that sports my decals. Thank you one and all, most especially Dave, Paul, Brandon, Tim, Charlie, AJ, Rob, Big Red Wolf, Groucho, Barten, Cricket, Kitten, Scurvy, One-Eye, Boom, Typo, Gwangi ... Okay, if I keep going I'll p.o. someone. You guys in particular have made being part of this family very special.

One of these days I'll probably get caught at work sneaking a look at the CC2 when I'm not supposed to ... but this place really helps me get through those work days!
After getting back into the hobby over a year ago, joining a community like this has been absolutely priceless ... I can't even begin to put a measure on how much being connected with others has meant to me personally and inspired me to keep pushing to do better, try new techniques, and just keep being creative about the whole thing, while keeping it all fun! I've seen too many people take hobbies that they used to enjoy and get so serious and wound up with it that all joy is gone ... I'm not about to let that happen to me, and this place has got the right attitude about it all!

Good Lassie! Now what is the trouble? Tim has fallen down the well? Again? What is wrong with him? Can't he see where he's walking? Maybe he needs glasses! Well, never mind that right now. As long as Tim is in the well, let's go to his room and raid his model car stash! We can give them to all his friend's before the fire department even shows up! After that pic, this was way too easy...which pic is Paul and which one is Lassie?
