There were a few projects to build Daniel designs as full size cars, don't think this was one of them

The name Tijuana Taxi has been used by slot car company International Engineering. This picture was taken in a book, Vintage Slot Cars by Philippe de Lespinay. It was also used for an album of Tijuana Brass knock off. This one was sold by Tastee-Freeze. Other companies used the same record, but their own cover art. Marty Marysville, OH

I did some extensive research to find the real vehicle Tom derived the TT from and couldn't find anything. It's quite possible that he took mental images from many car designs and created his own cool design.

I did a bit more research but couldn't find the exact car, but I did find some taxis and limos that have some of the lines the Tom may have used. Dave ?? 1907 Frayer/Miller 1917 Packard Closed Body Limo 1905 Phelps Limo 1925 Mayfair 1917 Yellow Cab 1931 Victory Car

I personally think one could be easily created by a good hot rod shop, for not a lot of money and using parts from several different cars cut up and rewelded together
