Pretty cool , nice job rebuilding it ! The three of us are probably the only ones that remember that show . I'll admit I watched it way back when . Edit - First one I've ever seen too . . . looks like some nice wheels and tires on there !

As a long time Bob Denver fan, this model has always intrigued me. I've seen it on the bay a number of times but have never seen one built, or this nice. Gilligan would love it.

Yeah I had to shut the diner down after Waffle House stole my Chili recipe. Had to sue'em to at least put my name back on the chili. Next time you need some gas stop by the Waffle House and have a bowl of Bert's Chili. I get a .02 check for each bowl.
Sorry about that, All of the Bert's. Fantastic build and the first time for me to see a built kit.

Very nice Hale!!! Are the headlights on yours from the kit? This is the first one I've seen built too, wonder if the molds still exist?

Fantastic project. And beautifully executed. And getting two cool build-ups in one thread needs to count as an added bonus.
The bonus being that now I am amongst the crowd hoping for a re-issue.

Isn't the base for this kit the MPC '28 Lincoln? It looks like one. The stock Lincoln was reissued by AMT in the '90s, iirc, maybe with the Gangbusters parts included. I never bought one. I don't imagine that many, if any, of the GG Taxi parts would have been included. I'm guessing the diamond tuck interior was exclusive to the Taxi issue?
