OK I'm gonna make this short and sweet, Today I placed a bid in on a car that I wanted and was quite happy with the bid until a few hours ago until I clicked on the car to see if I was still the high bidder and saw that the seller had changed some info about the car I was interested in, normally this wouldn't be an issue as this is a tactic of sellers in the end of a lot of auctions to gain more bidders, however when i went to investigate this, I found that the info the seller had posted made the fact that i was bidding not an option at the price and the safety to my account "as his demands (unreasonable to say the least)", changed the item's value and worth significantly, plus in the last update payment for said car was made impossible by his demands and was suspicious to say the least, as he was demanding bidders to pay him. Not through pay pal, but through a well known Google accounts payable, "well known for being used for scams". After these demands were made, including that he was going to strip parts of the car off, including wheels, and the rear suspension? ? I mean WTF!!! I decided to remove my bid, only having done so once before "for equally bad circumstances", I went around eBay and it took only a few minutes to remove the bid, after this was done. I viewed the progress of the car and on forums that were talking about the car I was informed that the car was being sold through an auction house in California that was well known for being fake and a front for a foreign scammer "from guess what country" that was known for taking customer money and never delivering. After this was reveled I reported the item and eBay has yet to do anything about, Still most of my fellow counter bidders have yet to find out the truth about this item, and have yet to realize what they've gotten themselves into. I know they may have been my competitors only hours ago, but now I feel that at least one of them is about to make a terrible mistake. I can only say that at least I was warned about this, and that I was prepared to adjust my bid on the car before I was warned about the seller by a forum member on one of the automotive specialty sites I am on, and was lucky enough to have read my e mail as a last minute thing before heading back to eBay

Oops, I guess I should have thought of that, if I can get to it today, I was sent a message through eBay this morning that the car, by the way, a "plymouth duster twister, was removed by eBay staff after the item was reported. I searched the number this morning and came up with nothing "121153120204", was the number that the car was listed under and I had only placed a bid for a grand, however by the time the car had been "removed" I saw the bid had reached a larger number, I actually had intentions to bid again, but was actually told by a friend from a mopar forum I'm on that he was aware of the seller "who by the way had a big fat ZERO" feedback. I guess you could say that I kinda felt stupid that I was almost tricked by such a bizarre scheme, but I'm glad that the problem was resolve. Furthermore, I was glad to have found out about this and have been able to report the car, as others had bid before me and could have lost money on a false deal
OK, I went back to search up the number based on my previous searches, and found that it had been removed by eBay and was no longer available, as I had searched up the car previously based on what the car was, I also did that and found the same, that the car was no longer available. All I can say is that I did have to think long and hard about reporting the car, but it took me no time after what I herd to cancel my bids. The only other time doing so. on a model car that the owner violated multiple eBay rules, including changing the actual item, as I had no idea one could cancel a bid I contacted eBay customer service about the problem and my bid was removed, based on the fact that the sell mis represented the item and its worth

I am unable to pull it up, I guess you could try. Most auctions are ended through timing out or buying now, then they are available for viewing for several months after. This auction was removed by eBay last night after I reported it, I have no idea weather or not you could view the car. When I used my bookmarks to look at the car, I was given the message that the car had been removed and routed to slimier items, like with an ended listing that has timed out. I have never reported an item before and don't really know how they work, nor do I really care what happened to the car, just as long the seller is not trying to scam a person. I saw the listing last night after I bid the seller started changing the car's description of it so much that the duster was devalued almost entirely, so I cancelled my bid "along with several other people", and only later when I went to adjust my bid, found that the seller was making false claims, and that his ad had been strikingly similar to ads that have been posted over the past few months that had been false. Last night I only reported the item based on the fact that my friend, within another automotive forum, informed me not to bid, and that the seller was very shady, after investigating into it more.n I discovered and how he had zero feedback and nothing else listed, and had no previous references in his rating. So I can only find the car based on my bookmarks and when I use that it only come up with how the car is no longer available
