Let's do something fun and maybe spark some building inspiration..... over the last decade the Gallery has grown beyond anyone's wildest dreams and sparked off literally hundreds of show rods that wouldn't have otherwise been. Post a favorite. One that stands out in your mind and why.. it could be craftsmanship, or ingenuity, or just a perfect box stock build of a childhood favorite that inspired you to get out a model and build something after a slump. For me, I'm going to show Barten's Short Bus from 2002..... we had a little contest that really helped push things in a creative direction, and Barten took it a step further and made a cool bus out of tape dispensers... I had never even thought to look for project fodder outside of my parts boxes, and at the time, this was pretty ground breaking, not to mention cleanly executed. www.showrods.com/gallery_pages/2002_contest/short_bus.html What Gallery feature impressed or inspired YOU?

I dont know how to paste his Gallery picture in my post, but for me it was Tim Nolan's Magenta Street fighter build from 2002 . Its the kit that got me back into building kits after many years . I was surfing the web looking for a picture of a Street Fighter,my favorite TD build , and that picture came up ,leading me to this site . After that I picked up a gluebomb 'Fighter on Ebay .My restored Street Figher ended up in the 2004 TD contest !
