Hey guys! I thought I'd stop by and say hello for a minute! I talk to a lot of you on Facebook now and then, but this place is still like coming home to an old show rod builder! It's good to see so many people still here, lot's of new faces and quite a few old ones as well! (even a few I haven't talked to in ages!) Scurvy! Wow there's a lot of great builds still going on here too! What a great assortment of builders! Lot's of really nice work too! I posted my recently completed "Spinner" from Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner" movie. It is a client build with a shitload of detail. A very "trying" build at times, but worth the effort in the end. I wasn't even sure it would fit into the show rod category, but then I thought hell it's like the Black Beauty or Batmobile, movie car, so.... AND, Gene Winfield built it!!! (He actually built about 25 cars for the movie) I am continuing to build for client's, mostly Sci-Fi pieces from Star Wars/Star Trek and the like, as well as prop-replica weapons from cast resin. You can swing by my web site anytime for a visit, or find me on Facebook as well. Here's some links: ratdaddystudios.smugmug.com/www.facebook.com/pages/Tim-Nolan-Ratdaddy-Studios/217647174993488?ref=hlI have a weekly Blog on the site as well as Galleries of finished/in-progress work with hundreds of photos to view. (LOT'S OF SHOW RODS!!!!) It's great seeing this site active! I'll stop by more often! Tim

Awwww, I've been pretty good. Back to about 98% after the twin strokes 3 years ago. Still working for a living (dang it!). Could be worse, could be dead, LOL. My work commute is 60 miles each way so my 8 hour day ends up being about 10.5 hours, but at least I get to sleep in my own bed every night. Between that, helping my son Joe at his shop, building my drag car, mowing the grass, etc, etc.....
Howsabout you? Didn't you sell your coupe? What are you driving now?

Good to see you back, Tim! I was just wondering what you are up to. Hope all is well. I'll have to dig through that web site. Looks very promising on the front page.
Gotta get back to work.
Take care, Buddy!

All I want to know is do you have any new pics of the Mean Green Coupe? Oh yeah, good to see you, glad things are going well? I sold my Deuce 2 years ago Bert. My back problems and low cash flow required it, but it's all good. I drove that monster every day rain or shine for 10 years, it was a good run! I miss having it sometimes, but not driving it every day. My back is enjoying the comforts of my 93' Eldorado that was my Dad's. (first "normal" car I've had in many years!) It's been a tough few years with family health issues and my business now doing poorly, but we are hanging in there. We are just at that point of age where things start happening to parents and such, and life is changing in general, not always for the better. But, life goes on one day at a time!

You can come by anytime Tim, it's always great to see you come hang out!!! I think we all know about today's crappy economy, and our wonderful politicians, and the games they play with our livelihood, but we do have cool places to hang out like here to get away for awhile. Here's to wellness!!!
