Well, the kiddies in my county went back to school today, so I thought it would be a good time to post this. I built it a while back, but never got around to sharing it. Very straight-forward shortening, enough to take off the second set of wheels. That meant editing the rails as well. Also added some seat cushions on the benches to comfort their little tushies Of course, that means my daily commute goes back to being its regular hell until winter break!

I like that! Much better with only the two rear wheels, and the body proportions are better for that show rod look. I've never been into that series with the dual rear axles. Nice job!

I fully agree, the proportions are very balanced, just a great build!

Dude, this is TOO COOL! I agree with the others who said it looks better shortened. You put it together BEAUTIFULLY too, super clean build!
How did you make the seat cushions? Sheet styrene?

How did you make the seat cushions? Sheet styrene? It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure that's what I used, with the edges sanded to be rounder. I probably painted to match the driver's seat
