Shall we start the arguments over what a "Show Rod" kit is now, or wait until the book gets published?

The author (Scotty Gosson) also wrote "America's Wildest Show Rods" which was an excellent book , so it will be interesting to see what if any new information he has found or if it's just a re-hash of what we already know . With 144 pages I'm sure it's a good book but for $25 on Amazon I think I'll wait for someone else to buy it first !

Some of us here have a little pride invested in this book... How about we try to just enjoy something nice for a change.

No offence meant chaps - the book's already on my Christmas List and I intend to enjoy every page (no doubt dreaming about Grails I will never own). I just have very vivid memories of the somewhat heated "What is a Show Rod?" discussions/ arguments that we've had here over the years.
"A small island"? To quote Dudley Moore in Arthur: "I wouldn't say it was a small island but they had it re-carpeted last week".

No offence taken harley. I've seen some topics here that should have been great matters for discussion go horribly wrong. I was just hoping that this was not another one. A lot of the guys who had input in this book are really super cool people, And their knowledge of Show Rod models made this book possible. I can't wait to get my hands on one.
