The transparent green roof is the hard part.

The transparent green roof is the hard part. The only other major difference is the windshield is taller, and there's no sand dune.

The Lil Van is also missing the headrests from the Sand Crab.

The headlight and tailights are green as well . Before I found one that I restored, I built a Hot Wheel style Sand Crab from a Lil Van . I used a back window from an old fastback Mustang I had lying around for the roof glass.

Here is the hot wheel style Sand Crab that I built many years ago from a Lil Van when I thought I would never find an original 'Crab .The mustang glass fit perfectly in the front, but there wasn't enough for the back overhang. It looked OK to me at the time !
