Why is this! Is it that Monogram did not make that many or is it not that popular, and if i'm correct it only came out one time...maybe the mold is roached? anybody got the heads up on this!

With all due respect it was kind of an over the top idea and they probably hardly sold any in the first place. Maybe l'm wrong.

IMHO I think it was kind of a silly looking kit. I know I saw it many times as a kid , but I never would have bought it. I was looking for cool looking street rods and custom cars ,and a purple steamroller with big chrome wheels didn't fit the bill for me ; maybe other guys felt the same way, so it didn't sell much. Of course if I could find it now I would build one !

The whole question of different pricing for all plastic models. In the UK, there is very few kits imported, so there has been a rise in collector prices for kits. The 'rarer' they are, the higher the price. Recently, the specialist companies that supplied armour, are closing, so for the Wacky Show rods/Hot Rods, there is no chance of ever being available at a 'reasonable' price. I can either purchase from online auction sites, or, directly from US, (very slow, expensive, as UK charges import Tax as well as VAT at this end). Ed Roth commented he was amazed at the price for Outlaw, being asked....Revellogram did several reissues, over the years (Hot Car series was one). so many dollars for a few ounces of plastic......
