That's a good question. I never tried it, but maybe by mixing some clear red and clear green you could get a brownish tint , I'm sure it would take some experimenting but maybe you could get something close to what you're looking for.

I have never seen a kit or a built version. If the wheels are chrome, try some Tamiya clear orange over the chrome. You could add some Tamiya smoke (translucent) added to the orange to darken. Of course all should be tried on a scrap chrome wheel or sprue. That's my guess and 2 cents!

Mr Hobby do a Copper paint. I have never used it but I have heard of good results from Military Builders who use it.

I've tried mixing Tamiya clears without success, they come out weird colors! I'm sure there is some kind of paint that would suffice.

But I'm wondering if I can spray it on model chrome ? the copper paint is a lacquer paint will that eat the chrome or plastic?

I have used duplicolor on plastic but always-ALWAYS airbrush it in very light coats. Out of the can or medium to heavy coats by airbrush will cause major ka ka! THe copper can is available separate but a pricey test if it does not work.
The SnJ power works but can you seal it without it running or smearing?
You could go to Micheals Crafts and see if they have the "stained glass" transparent paint in copper.
Or even try COPPER RUB n Buff which is a wax based application. Paul

I was just curious why it didn't react on the test parts but did with the wheels. The Duplicolor could have reacted with the Tamiya lacquer. Tamiya is a celulose based lacquer and the Duplicolor is a Tulene / Ketone based lacquer.
